This is a sample of our personalised movie posters. There’s many more to see on other pages of our site. If you want to be famous, what better way of becoming a star overnight, cast in the leading role in your favourite all time blockbuster feature film! They’re a great Christmas holiday gift idea for relatives and loved ones. No need to pick from only the ones featured here – You can choose any movie you know of. Just send us a photo of you or the gift recipient, name the film, and we’ll do the rest.

The prestigious price of these posters reflects the hard work and deep perfectionist attention to detail which typically go into their making. These puppies can take days to make, not just minutes, and it's why, when you commission a personalised movie poster from us, you can be sure that it's a high quality item which is worth every cent of the price, because there are several painstaking time and work absorbing processes involved in the production of your poster.

We spend time searching for the best available examples of the original movie poster that’s required. They’re not always easy to find, and often we have to spend time restoring the quality of the original poster before it’s even fit to start personalising it. Sometimes we can't find a suitable original poster at all, so we have to research the movie’s history and credits and then construct our own new poster from scratch, with material from many different sources, before we can begin personalising it.

In addition, many old movie posters prior to the 1980’s tended to use hand-painted or drawn pictures of the actors instead of photographs. In these cases, when we put your face in, we strive to match the hand-painted style of the original faces. And of course, some movie ‘stars’ are actually animated cartoon characters, so we therefore recreate you too as a cartoon character.

Finally, we go over the whole poster, matching all the separate elements to the original print textures and colour gamut, and restoring overall picture quality and clarity to make a punchy, eye-socking movie poster that looks bright, sharp, colorful and good as new, but most importantly, without sacrificing its original vintage look. You’ll know of course that it’s you or a loved one in the poster, but our work is so good and thoroughly executed that future generations will never know the difference. In forty years time, you’ll be hearing “Grandpa, I didn’t know you were in the movies!”

These posters aren't jokes, and they aren't disposable: They are investments, serious works of art fit to be framed and treasured as family heirlooms, and we never consider one of our movie posters to be finished unless it would be good enough to hang outside a cinema or be published in a magazine or newspaper to advertise an actual real movie.

We don’t just stick a new photo of your face into the old poster. As these examples show, we carefully blend it to match, reshaping and rebuilding clothing detail and hairstyles as necessary, adjusting light and shadow to match, and we also enhance skin, teeth and eyes to give you that same movie star sparkle that the rest of the original actors on the poster have. We also carefully match the texture and color of the print tone and film grain of the original poster to help more seamlessly blend the new face into the old poster.

Then there’s the lettering: We don’t just type it in. We generally rebuild the main title, actors names, and much of the credits lettering to incorporate the new name you want on the poster, (note that for client's privacy, the names have been smudged out in the examples on this page).

And we don't just use any old lettering – We search for and then match the exact fonts used on the original poster as closely as possible, and/or match the font and design style to the cultural period of the movie. Sometimes there is no matching font, so we cut up and rebuild the existing original lettering by hand and rebuild it to form the new letters required. But we don’t stop there: New fonts just dropped onto an old poster stick out a mile, so we actually distress (age) the new lettering to match the apparent age of the rest of the poster so that it seamlessly blends in.

(*Why are the poster heights exact, but the widths approximate? Because the original movie posters come in a variety of slightly differing proportions of height and width, and we don’t know what movie you’ll choose yet. So we just guarantee the height at your choice of 36 or 59 inches tall, and your poster’s width will be whatever the proportion of the original poster size is to that)
